Pilak Silvercrafts

“Pilak” is a Filipino word for silver. As its name suggests, the Pilak Silvercraft and Gift Shoppe takes pride in selling its products reasonably priced from its vast array of unique designs, adding a local touch as a product made from Baguio.

The Cordillera is rich in mineral deposits, such as gold, copper, and silver, in the entire mountain region. Many indigenous groups have engaged in trading and mining since the early century. As UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) discovered that Baguio is rich in artistic culture, Pilak opened its doors to tourists through several activities that allowed them to be immersed in silver crafting. The shop offers customers free will to customize silvers and shows ready-made products they can choose according to their liking. Prices vary from as low as Php 90 to Php 13,000 depending on the complexity and size of the design that customers are interested in buying.

They are located at #10 Mines View Park, Baguio City, and #37 Leonard Wood Road, Baguio City. The store is open daily, including holidays and weekends, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm to accommodate customers. Check out their Facebook page for more details!
